This isn’t your average cleaning service. I’m a thoughtful and compassionate person who understands trauma and neurodivergence from my own lens.

I’m trained with COSCA Counselling Skills and ASIST to listen empathetically and aim to create a person-centred approach with clear communication and allowing you to set your own boundaries to create autonomy and trust within your space.

Alongside becoming a head housekeeper by age 19, over a decade of knowledge for cleaning different workspaces, clinics, lettings and homes - I have a wealth of experience in the cleaning sector.

All work is priced via transparent, fixed quotes rather than rushed hourly rates.

The cost of the service covers insurance, high-grade PPE* and supplies, travel and administration. It also directly helps fund free cleans for local community members in crisis, which often come directly from my own pocket.

If you have budget constraints, cleans can be tailored to high-priority rooms, and sliding scale pricing is available upon request via consultation. You receive an honest, fully protected service while enabling vital community support.

If you need any kind of organisation or cleaning, I most likely have a service to suit you unless you need a specialised cleaner*.

*Specialised cleaner includes; oven cleaning, upholstery cleaning and carpet cleaning.

I will ask a lot of questions before we start, but only so I can understand your routine, sensory needs, energy levels and boundaries. Getting that detail upfront means no surprises, just a smooth, comfortable session that actually works for you.

If evenings work for you, yes I can provide organisation and body doubling during these times.

A few things to bear in mind though; I specifically do not work past 11pm for health and safety reasons.

I will receive at least one call during this time to check on my own safety and wellbeing.

Generally, no. I don’t transport or dispose of waste myself, but I will happily help you sort, bag, and organise your items into clear zones for keeping, charity donation, selling, or disposal.

If you have a large amount of rubbish or bulky items to get rid of, these need to be collected by a licensed, registered waste carrier. If you're not sure where to start, just let me know and I can help you find a reliable local service to book.

Some of the more specialised services are listed here;

Oven Deep Cleans: Full, intensive deep cleans of ovens are very time consuming. I recommend hiring an oven specialist for these tasks to save you time and money.

Carpet & Upholstery Deep Cleaning: Full carpet washing and upholstery extraction require heavy specialized equipment and are not included in this service. I recommend using a specialist professional service for those needs.

Working on any appliance internal systems and cleaning: This can invalidate warranties and possibly damage the appliance - I recommend a specialist for the appliance or brand.

Computing systems - anything that goes beyond wiping screens, vacuuming excess dust and disinfecting mice and keyboard would be a specialist service - I can recommend a specialist for this.

Gas, Electric and Water - anything to do with these three are best left to the professionals - I can help you find a specialist.

I love working around pets and am happy to offer approved treats on arrival if given permission! To protect your animals from cleaning chemicals and respect their needs, please inform me of all pets in your home or business (including aquatic life and reptiles).

Dogs: Because home cleans can be stressful for dogs, I ask to meet them prior to our first visit. I am a dog owner myself and know that cleans can be overwhelming. I have a wealth of experience around dogs and positive training and so I will ask that your dog is confident around vacuums and other cleaning items. Ideally, dogs are not at home during this time. If present, they must be safely secured in a positive, calming space so I can work to my high standards. If a dog appears overly stressed, I may ask that you arrange alternative care on clean days.

Please note: I’m happy to check in on pets if requested and to give them some attention but if you aren’t booked for a hazardous clean, cat litter trays, dog faeces and other pet tasks (grooming and flea control) are not included in the service.

I am happy to work around children if parents are available during your monthly clean and organisation. However, for their safety, anyone under the age of 18 must be directly supervised by an appropriate adult at all times.

Children must not be near cleaning chemicals or equipment and require direct supervision by a parent or guardian if they are in the property.

I kindly request that children (anyone under 18) are not around for restoration cleaning or builders cleans as this can be extremely hazardous and is purely for safety reasons.

Please make sure to share any severe allergies (such as food allergies) so I can ensure my personal items, like my lunch, are kept safely separate and do not cross contaminate your home.

If I am booked for a body doubling or monthly or quarterly clean and it is communicated beforehand, I can provide a mop and bucket for you at cost and I am happy to recommend good vacuums at a variety of budgets. This means that you will have something to keep on top of your housework after the initial clean.

If I am booked for your deep clean, I will use a professional wet dry vacuum. This can be used for domestic properties but is significantly louder than a regular vacuum.

If you are new to cleaning and organisation, welcome! You are one of many more than you possibly realise.

Please book in for a body doubling organisation and clean, we can work on this together and I can give you the skills to fly solo in a short space of time.

Deposit: A £35 non refundable deposit is required at booking to secure your slot.

Cancellations: If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours notice. For cancellations made within 48 hours, the deposit is retained by Need A Cleaner.

Settling the Balance: The remaining balance is due on the day of your clean. Late fees apply to accounts that are in arrears by one day.
