“I climbed my own mountain, now I can help you to climb yours.”
Need A Cleaner was born from that experience.
I am here to be the friend you need. We can have a laugh, deep meaningful conversation and a cuppa while we’re getting stuff done. When I leave, I want you to feel lighter, happier, and ready for the beautiful life you have ahead. Whether you want a one off booking, a regular visit or you want to gift this to someone you love, the standard is the same.
I don’t just clean homes, I clean and organise offices and other commercial spaces with effective communication and I am happy to work alongside other staff members to ensure that the space is fit for everyone’s use. If you don’t know what need’s to be tackled first, I suggest asking your staff members or members of your household what it is they do not like about the space, my job is to solve these issues and create solutions beneath their face value and look to the systemic issues that lie beyond.
A Person Centred Approach
You are allowed to rest: If your energy is low, I will bring you a cuppa and flit around making things a little tidier while you recharge. Just because you need to be present to organise your home doesn’t mean you have to do the heavy lifting. That is okay.
You are allowed to help: If you want to work alongside me, that’s great! I’ll show you some cool tips and tricks as we go, so you feel empowered to manage your space your way.
No judgment and total authenticity: I have stood where you are standing, and there is nothing you can show me that will ever change my respect for you. You will always get the real me, with kind and honest support so we can make genuine progress together.
I know what it’s like to feel as though you’re in the ground and need a digger just to see the light again.
My own journey with PTSD taught me that when life gets heavy, the house is often the first thing to fall. I’ve lived through that cycle of overwhelm where the mess feels like a mountain you can’t climb alone.
When I was at my lowest, I didn't need someone to just "clean for me." I needed someone approachable. I needed a person who was willing to go the extra mile, not as a critic, but as a friend. When I finally found that helping hand (at the time, my lovely cleaner Judi) I realized I wasn't alone. This struggle is so common, yet we tend to carry it in silence.
Homes, Workplaces & Systemic Solutions
I don’t just clean homes, I clean and organise offices and commercial spaces with clear, effective communication. I am always happy to collaborate with staff members to ensure every workspace is truly fit for everyone’s use.
If you aren't sure what needs to be tackled first, I suggest asking your team or household members what frustrates them most about the space. My job is to look beneath the surface, solve those pain points, and fix the underlying organizational systems that cause clutter to build up in the first place.

A Skilled Ear & A Helping Hand
Because I believe in the power of listening, I have completed a COSCA Counselling Skills course and my ASIST course. This training helps me truly hear your needs and respect your boundaries without assumptions. Beyond this, I am following my dream of becoming a Person Centred Therapist for which I am training for the future. I also volunteer my time helping people in the community, whether through litter picking and free cleans or helping with greyhounds, because I know that sometimes a little bit of support is the only thing standing between us and our peace of mind.
I’m not just here to scrub floors. I’m here to hold your hand while we climb out of that space.
Let’s find the floor again, together.
